I'm not a huge candy eater...
but I do love my chocolate:
Every year at this time, however, a very specific candy-coated chocolate becomes available in the stores that makes me swoon...
Oh my, it's just the perfect combination of crispy-crunch and chocolate. So good. And no one ever has to know that I've eaten almost the entire bag since I took these pictures.
Oops.
Heheheh... yuuumo!
ReplyDeleteMy weakness this time of year is the Mini Robin's Eggs. No other candy is quite so good
ReplyDeleteI am most nuts about See's easter candy, because it reminds me of being a kid, not that they still have everything that they did. With seven brothers and sisters, and all of us inheriting our father's soft teeth, we only got candy three times a year- Halloween (and it was only the leftovers of the stuff we gave away- Mom wouldn't let us go trick or treating), a shared box of See's at Christmas, and then Mom made up for it at Easter by filling our baskets with See's Easter candy. So good. So rare.
ReplyDeleteI'm almost ashamed to admit I had a thing for Cadbury Creme eggs there for awhile....
I'm glad you enjoyed your guilty pleasure.
My wife is addicted to Peeps, those disgusting sugar encrusted marshmallowy blobs of ick. I'm partial to the malted easter eggs.
ReplyDeleteYou've made me hungry for Easter candy now, too.
ReplyDeletePlease pass the Peeps!
I love these too! I have eaten entire bags of Reese cups, though.
ReplyDeleteChicken eggs count, chocolate Easter eggs don't. The poor camera shy animals of Critter Farm!
ReplyDeleteHmm, I haven't seen those here but I'll have to look for them!
ReplyDeleteI love those candies. I like to let them melt in my mouth too. I am also a fan of black jellybeans. I only have about 7 left out of my bag. :(
ReplyDeleteHaha!
ReplyDeleteI like the malted milk eggs. ;)
Have a great day! :)
Oh, I look forward to Easter for those Cadbury eggs that look like an egg in the center and have a chocolate shell...my secret addiction! Mmmmmm....
ReplyDeleteMy favorite is the original Reeses Peanut Butter egg...I can make myself SICK on those. Now the company makes them at Christmas too in the shape of trees but those are the only two times of the year you can buy them. Thank goodness.
ReplyDeleteAnd here I was doing so well to avoid temptation... :)
ReplyDeleteI'm not a big candy person, either, so for Easter I'm content with a handful of large robin's eggs and Reeses peanut butter egg or two, nibbled, not bitten. ;)
ReplyDeleteThis made me smile Danni!! Looking at those chocolates almost makes me want to go out and buy a bag..but I guess..I'd have to go with the jelly beans..yep..pure sugar..thats my goal:)
ReplyDeleteI'm drooling! I really don't have a favorite, except I can't stand Peeps. Anything chocolate will do for me. I do think the Cadbury eggs are just fun to eat, but for me they are way too sweet to "snack" on like the crunchy Hersheys.
ReplyDeleteHey, that's a good thing....my grandson explained to me the finer points of chocolate. The number one thing to remember is that chocolate makes you smarter. And don't you forget it. tee hee. The wisdom of a six year old shared with only special people. The Olde Bagg, Linda
ReplyDeleteI love malted milk eggs and every trip to the grocery store this time of year I buy 5 of them from the bulk aisle. Yum...
ReplyDeleteDidn't know that about my daughter. Hm.
ReplyDeleteBut then she doesn't know that I eat a big bowl of ice cream in bed every night.
Otherwise, we tell each other everything..........
Oh dear....I just picked up 3 bags of these things on Saturday. I just love them. The stores seem to put the holiday candy out earlier and earlier every year making it impossible to steer my grocery cart away from the piles of these bags taunting me. I savor every bite! :)

I've never liked one of the Easter basket perennial favorites - jelly beans. Just never could get into them. I found a recipe for homemade Cadbury eggs on Craftzine that I might have to try this year, though. Or maybe I'll just stick with making chocolate-peanut butter cups. In the meantime, I suddenly hear some peanut M&Ms calling me...
ReplyDeleteI sure hope you enjoyed your guilty pleasure1 Mine is Dove dark chocolate eggs. Yum. :)
ReplyDeleteAhhhh, chocolate! Much better than a dead mouse.
ReplyDeleteNancy in Iowa
Oh yeah, Easter candy. Yum.
ReplyDeleteswoon indeed!!
ReplyDeleteIt will be our little secret . . .
ReplyDeletelooks yummy! I've not allowed myself to indulge in any Easter candies this year...I'm sure that will change before long though. I'll have to look for those and give them a try!
ReplyDeleteDanni just cause of you I went out and bought two bags of those dang eggs. I had to go to three places to find them. They are very, and I mean very addicting. I can not get the bag away from CH!
