Leaving the farm


Not forever. Just for a few days. It's a good thing, so don't worry.
Why is it good, you ask? Well...

1) This makes me happy. Very happy. This is because of point 2. Read on.

2) I'm going to visit - and meet for the first time - a friend I feel like I've known for a very long time. And I just feel like we have a lot to talk about.
:-)

3) The person I'm visiting lives with many beloved (and familiar) animals, so I will be in 7th heaven. Truly.

4) I've never been to this particular state before and it feels incredibly foreign to me. The climate, not to mention the altitude, couldn't be any more different from Critter Farm. I'm ready for this kind of change.

I've been told that I don't need these:

I have also been informed that there will be 0% chance of this:

I will, however, be bringing these:

...or at least one or two of them.

You can bet I'm going to miss these two mugs, that's for certain:

But I've promised everyone that I'll come back with *lots* of really good stories.

Would you like to come with me? I promise it will be an awesome adventure.

    Oh, YES! Yes I want to come with you! Someplace warm and dry? With animals? You BETCHA I'll go.

    Oh wait. I can't go. I have to stay here and slog through the mud to take care of MY animals. It's time to start spring cleaning the barns. That is if the 'stuff' has thawed enough for me to scrape it out with a shovel and a pitchfork. Guess I'll have to stay home.

    It's a good thing that there is really no place else in the world that I would rather be!

    A short visit wouldn't be bad though...

    Oh boy....that sounds exciting! Love the t-shirt you've packed. I've got one for chickens and my husband laughs at me everytime I wear it. I think he's jealous. Have a great time and a safe trip! You'll get lot's of loves when you return I'm sure!!
