In my pantry

...the potatoes are trying to escape:

Roxy was a bit perplexed at first by the one who came to visit:

But she ultimately decided it was ok to share her spot on the couch:

  1. I've got sprouty potatoes in my pantry too! But they're not intentional.

  2. I'm worried you're gonna run out of ZipLoc bags. ;-)

  4. Hi 7MSN - we have so much in common - my sprouting 'taters aren't intentional either!! They caught me completely by surprise with their exhuberance! lol

Joanna - HA! Your comment made me laugh really loudly!! Yeah, I tend to be very thorough in my "pantry stockage". :-)

Marigold - she totally wanted to, but her mama told her to "stay".

  5. I, too, thought you were intentional in letting the taters sprout.

And . . . I, too, am glad you've stocked up on zip-lock bags! One never wants to not have one when one needs a good zip-lock baggie!

Roxy's such a sweet obedient little doggie.

  6. Time to plant those taters, Danni! Those sure are some tall sprouts you've got going. I thought the three in a row on the wooden box looked like mice!

  7. Just even seeing a snippet of the pantry makes me feel better.
Even with the exuberant taters! :-)

  8. Now, Danni, those are some freaky alien potatoes!

  9. I think those are the longest potato roots I've ever seen! Kinda scary looking.

I love that you stock up on baggies and such. I too, have an abundance of baggies in my storage area. Wouldn't want to run out when I need one! I also recycle (rinse and reuse) baggies all the time to save money and be more "green".

  13. Thank you. I finally have new knitting material. I will knit you an extra long heirloom blanket in you favorite non-color. Any special pattern you fancy? How about the difficult -yet beautiful-"German Butterball cable" with an elegant Russet cross stitch?

  18. Even though Roxy looks a bit worried that 'thing' on her couch, she is such a good girl for putting up with it! Love the pics. :)
