...and, thankfully, we are back home now. Kai has been poked and prodded and shaved and swabbed, and we were sent back to the farm last night with a sheet of instructions and an arsenal of medications.
Due to multiple nights of minimal sleep, however, I find myself now completely exhausted and totally unreasonable - and this is a dangerous state to blog in.
And so, I will write just a short post tonight to thank you for your words (and emails) of support and to promise a comprehensive update tomorrow.
i am so glad she is home!
ReplyDeleteGlad you are home. Hoping everything went well
ReplyDeleteOh my. How our hearts can dive when our critters are in distress!! I hope that Kai is on the mend. The picture of her taken down that long hallway ... yanked at my heart strings. Can't imagine what it did to yours. Sending some energy your way from farther north.
ReplyDeleteWe've been sending mountains of good healing vibes, had our fingers crossed AND "held our thumbs" - and now expect (as in hope&wish) that Kai will be fine in no time! And our best to you, too!
ReplyDeleteI know that feeling all too well. I am glad you are both home and on the mend.
ReplyDeleteGlad you are both home and will be waiting for a update! marsha@tubbslanefarm.com
ReplyDeleteIt's especially tough when this kind of thing happens over the weekend, and you have to wait. Catch up on your rest, and take good care of yourself and your llama. I was very happy to read the diagnosis, and that what ails Kai can be fixed.
ReplyDeleteIt's so hard when our animals are sick. Kai looks determined. Rest up. Hope all is well.
ReplyDeleteThank you for the post. You and Kai get some rest.
ReplyDeleteExcellent hews. Luck, Danni
ReplyDeleteWishing and hoping, and hoping and wishing...
ReplyDeleteBe well, everybody!!!"
I'm glad she's on the mend soon. Good luck with her treatment. :D
ReplyDeletehow is kai?
ReplyDeleteOh dear ... we haven't heard from you in a while ... I hope Kai has made it and I hope you and Buttercup have made good progress. Rooting for you all up here in Ontario!
ReplyDeleteGet better Kai, mama is worried!
ReplyDeleteHope it all turned out ok!
ReplyDeleteAwww...on the mend I hope...here is a happy pig photo in my blog to cheer you up. Dudley is loving the sun!
