The donkeys are coming
I received word yesterday that Peaceful Valley Donkey Rescue has approved my request to become a Satellite Adoption Center! By the end of May, the big PVDR trailer carrying adoptable donkeys will drive the 15 hours from Tehachapi, California to arrive at our small farm and leave me with six (6!!!) donkeys to care for.
I'm excited, nervous, wondering what I'm getting myself into, and very happy. I think these longears are just wonderful. I'm in good company. Even Marc Chagall liked donkeys.
I'll know in about a week exactly what day they'll be arriving.
Doing the happy donkey dance...
