A tasty treat for Pete

Pete, the goat, is always sniffing around for his next snack:

So when Chester's tail popped through Pete's side of the fence the other day:

Pete gave it a sniff:

And then a little taste. Bottom line, neither goat boy is very picky about what they put in their mouths:

And an instant later, everyone just pretended it never happened:

  2. How cute! That is so typical. My goats try for anything.., even the dog's tails.

  3. Goats are so silly. Mine like to pull the wool off the sheep and eat it. I'm sure the sheep don't care for it.

  8. I know a couple people who own goats and horses. The horses all have abnormally short tails. Better watch the burro boy's tails.

  9. Those boys are such characters. I gotta tell you - your pictures make me so homesick for Maryland. Ooooh, those green woods. I shall live vicariously through you for my need for green.

  10. Danni, I just love Critter Farm! Your blog fulfills my desire to own goats, donkeys and llamas. I have my hands full just keeping my chickens alive. This feather pecking business is for the birds. Sorry.

  15. One of our goats reached through the fence when Sweet Girl was about 2 and tried to eat her pony tail...she screamed so loud the goat jumped and ran away. She hated that goat from that day on! Kim
