A really fast goat
Most mornings, the goat boys, Pete and Reggie, accompany me from their goat house up to the barn:
It has become part of their daily routine, much like jumping on the hay and straw bales, teasing the llamas, and chasing me around for carrot coins has. At the end of our barn session, we turn off the barn light and start our slow walk back to the goat house. We always go as a trio, with the boys stopping to eat salal, blackberries and brush along the way.
Recently, however, Pete....
has decided that he's got some place important to be and leaves us in the dust:
Wow.
What's got him in such a hurry?

Obviously he hears Peanuts calling him. I can hear them. Can't you?
ReplyDeleteI'm reminded of that noise cartoon characters make when they take off and leave a whoosh of dust behind and nothing else.
ReplyDeleteI love the little "doodad" he does... kind of like a grace note in music.
ReplyDeleteThanks for a smile and a snortle. :)
(what kind of capcha is peehaut anyway?)
That's too funny! I love his little sideways kick just before he takes off! He sure is in a hurry. :D
ReplyDeleteWow. That *is* a really fast goat! What the heck? Hes on a mission, thats for sure. :-)
ReplyDeleteAnd did you see all the other critters? They are like, whats gotten into him.....clearly not concerned enough to stop eating....
I love seeing his little back feet go up in the air like that.
Okay, I gotta watch it again now.
That is so funny, the way everybody else watches him go, and then they all look at you, and then go back to eating. Sort of the "What's his problem?" look. Very cute!
ReplyDeletenow that was about the funniest thing I've seen in a while!!! I really needed that...What a KICK!!!
ReplyDeleteI just love it! :)
That was the best 23 seconds I've spent in a looong time! Too much fun.
ReplyDeleteThat's just too funny! I love that high kick at the beginning of his run. Cracked me up.
ReplyDeleteOkay, okay . . . I give up, do tell! What's the rush?
ReplyDeleteSpring is where he's going in such a hurry. I love the bucks of spring.
ReplyDeleteI am laughing so hard tears are streaming down my face! That was hilarious!! I am going to watch it again. And again. :)
ReplyDeleteI think your goats just like to kick it up and run. It's so cute.
ReplyDeleteWhat's really funny is how the donkeys and Llamas react. Like...,
"What the matter with those goats? and then they go right back to eating. That's funny...
I think you may have missed your calling. Your videos are hilarious, and a great way to wake up in the morning.
ReplyDeleteOhmygosh. That is too funny! And over on the side, did Reggie give that same little kick before he took off? The llamas and donks look so bewildered by that behavior!
ReplyDeleteI don't think I've ever seen a faster goat.
So funny! The more I see your goats, the more I want goats...and there is a goat farmer down the street from us...who knows what you may see on my blog one day!
ReplyDeleteCute, cute, cute! Loved the barn audience looking after them... cute!
ReplyDeleteummmm....have you tried asking him? ;-)
ReplyDeletethat was great to pan over to the other animals who were standing there saying whaaat? is wrong with that crazy goat. priceless video!
ReplyDeleteThanks for sharing a chuckle with us.
ReplyDeleteLove the llamas and donkeys looking where the goats went.....

ReplyDeleteI've never seen a goat move that fast! Even mine don't run that fast for grain.
ReplyDeleteDanni....I think they must have been watching rabbits!! Holy goat are they quick!!!
ReplyDeleteLOL! That video was a riot!! And, the looks on the others' faces is priceless, too. "There he goes again....*sigh*..."
