There's a perceived notion among many people that donkeys are lazy and tend to mostly stand around looking bored and miserable. This couldn't be farther from the truth.
That was pretty awesome! I love the sounds of their hooves amidst the peaceful forest sounds. They look incredibly happy to be living there with you. Really cool video!
Oy. Such an expenditure of energy. A goat would never do this. Nonetheless, how are you ever going to give any of these donkeys up? Can you just keep them all? I think you should change your 'name' from Farmgirldk to DonkeyDanni. :)
Hi, this is Julia, your niece. I'm sitting on Omi's lap and we just watched the donkeys in the video. We sawed the chick movie too. What is Spongebob doing? Is she doing nice stuff or bad stuff? Omi says I have to go to bed now.
You don't have to sell me on donkey behavior, I love watching them. I have dial-up and video watching is almost impossible. I want to see your pals in action though, and will try a little later. Aren't donkeys wonderful?? Jack is such a good boy.
Ok. I'm about to give up. I've tried to post several messages on your blog, Danni, but they're just not showing up. I posted on here last night and I guess it just vanished into blogspot thin air. lol
I'll try one last time....
I've seen donkeys run and play like this before, but only if they were in groups of of two or more....and were very happy and content.
You can see that your rescue donkeys must feel very safe and happy on your farm and are showing that by running up and down and all around joyfully over your beautifully forested hills.
Danni, you have truly arrived. You are now 'Critter Farm'. Congrats!
Yup, looks like your donks are lazy as bees! They are obviously very happy to be living at your place. Your property looks perfect for donkey fun. How is Holly?
and her Mom said, Danni, I've missed reading your blog while I've been settling Bull into his new home. I just adore your new donkeys and they look like they are having the times of their lives. What a great video!
AWWWW, they're so CUTE!!!! WOW, they run fast! How cool!

ReplyDeleteYou can tell that wasn't a fluke run, they have trails worn already. Lady, you and your donkeys have an amazing farm.
ReplyDeleteThey're so HAPPPPPEEEEEEE..HAWWWWW!!!!
ReplyDeleteWhat a hoot! Aren't they having such a gooooood time!?! And what a great place to run round and round. They must think they've found Donkey Nirvana.

DONKEY TAG!!! I love it. They look so joyful running around--and I can't believe how much acreage you fenced in for them. That's really wonderful.
