That made me giggle. They sure do have minds of their own. You are great Danni. You seem so comfortable working with all six donkeys at once. They trust you, even if they won't follow you out to the pasture in the rain. Thanks for the video.
Ha Ha Ha....where's Daisy Lu to watch!!! I'm sure this will be repeated many times before your next post!! Hope the rain stopped...I noticed our weather pixies don't work anymore!
Awww, they are SO cute, love the names! You're so funny, "Donkey traffic jam!"...haha... Daisy doesn't go out much in the morning, either, but she'll go out in the rain if it means she can graze...because grazing is a rare opportunity. :D Good video!
Awwwwww. What a wonderful, delightful, adorable video!
Thanks so much for commenting on my site - you've given me the "push" I needed to get back to it and post some more.
But back to CritterFarmGirl - for me, this is my favorite site on the web. I've got you bookmarked, and plan to read and check out your photos daily. I love donkies and have always lived in a city... but who knows what the future will bring.
Solomon!! Your comment made my day :-) - thanks for the kudos!
Hi farmer jen - I know I've done my job if I've made you giggle! Thanks for the compliment, but I've got to hand it to the donks - they make my job EASY. They are so wonderful.
Hi eve, somehow I don't think Daisy Lu will be as eager to watch a bunch of big guys walking around as she was the peeping little things! I miss my weather pixie!
Hi mellimaus! Just so you know, they came with their names. While some fit, I don't think I would've gone with "Velvet's Baby". lol.
Hi dina - tell me about it...this weather is ghastly. I'm more than ready for a few days above 60 degrees again!!
Hi seasonseatingsfarm, um...yeah. Knew I could count on you to point this out. :-) Even as enticing as I tried to make it, they weren't having any of it! And I used to think *I* was stubborn! :-)
Hi suzann - wow, thank you. you are tremendously nice to say this! I love that you cited PVDR in your latest post! Here's hoping you get your own donkey some day!! :-)
My oldest daughter and I watched this several times together and she just loved the donkeys. We just adopted a dog from one of the rescue groups and I told her about what you are doing for these donkeys and she was very impressed!
I loved the video. You sound so happy when you are talking to them!
I think that's the best video I've seen in a long time. The donkeys are fantastic!

I've got to admit - I had a similar start to the day when *I* saw the rain! Sigh... please, summer, come to stay!
ReplyDeleteSo uh...Danni...I noticed you were out and the donks were in. How's that work? lol They look like they're a lot of fun.

Haven't you ever heard the experssion, never work with kids or animals?
ReplyDeleteSo funny and cute. If only we had the space.
Obviously donkeys and goats are much closer on the evolutionary chain than we thought.
