I really never thought I'd see it again. I certainly never thought I'd find it here:
I lost this about three days ago. After a long day outside, I came inside to find I only had one of these still in my ear:
Phew, a matched set again:
I really love my hoop earrings.
I'm hoping that you're going to disinfect it really well!
ReplyDeleteWell I was going to say not to wear your earrings in the barn Danni, but hey looks like you've got everything under control!
ReplyDeleteI know exactly how you feel! I was walking around the yard last night drinking a glass of wine and snapping some pictures and I put my wine glass down to change the setting of my camera and walked around taking a few additional shots and before I knew it I had lost my glass of wine. Do you know how hard it is to find a stemless glass of white wine on a 1/2 acre of lawn....? ;)
ReplyDeleteI'm so glad you found your earring! I know how good it feels to find something you thought was gone for good. (like my glass of wine)
Have a great day!
Sandy
Wow! Well spotted! :D I'v lost more earrings than I care to mention!
ReplyDeleteI hate losing a favorite earring. I recently lost a silver peace sign earring that I wear often; luckily they were still in stock, so I bought another pair.
ReplyDeleteNow I have 3.
(I can't believe you saw that!)
Small gold hoops are all I wear. They go with everything.
ReplyDeleteI hope that one earring found its way into some alcohol. :)
well, they will be matching once the one gets a good scrub! I love finding something I think is gone forever. It makes you want to do a Snoopy dance for sure. I'm still waiting to recover the 3 different earrings that my child has dropped down an air vent.....oh well, I won't hold my breath.
ReplyDeleteWow! A Timex earring.
ReplyDeleteI'm so glad you spotted it. They are a pretty pair of earrings and I'd be sad too if I had lost one. Clean'em up and they'll be as good as new!
ReplyDeleteOne of God's small miracles! I'm amazed that you found it!
ReplyDeleteI'm glad you found it, but even more glad you are wearing ear rings while working on your farm. Good for you! I just got caught up on several of your posts and I love, love, love the goats. Well, the donkeys too, and the llamas, and the chickens, and Roxy, but the goats are the bomb! lol -- Inger
ReplyDeleteYay! I know how much you love those hoops. I didnt even know you had lost one...but Im glad you found it. :-)
ReplyDeleteMaybe if you keep looking out there that movie will pop up, too.
Whoop, Whoop! You found your Hoop!
ReplyDeleteHow fortuitous! I hate losing jewelry. I quit wearing my rings around the farm after I managed to lose a stone and do some damage to the decorative band of my wedding ring. Lucky you found that hoop!
ReplyDeleteI honestly never knew a gold hoop earring could blend so perfectly with poop laden straw. That's amazing. Even more amazing that you recognized it! We've been searching all day long for my little "half ton" pocket knife that's been missing for 4 days. We can't find it - and it's RED for heaven's sake! Good find, Danni. That would have made me very, very happy. Time to celebrate with a glass of Gewurztraminer in a green stemmed wine glass - woot!
ReplyDeleteWow..you and Lori's mom can find anything..that's amazing you saw that..was it shining in the sunlight or something..
ReplyDeleteI just lost one when Lori and I went out to dinner a month ago.. had the restaurant employee's looking all over for it..didn't think I'd ever see that earring again..and guess what I found walking back to the car..yep..sure did..
I almost lost an earring to one of the goat boys today. If Bart had been successful, I would never have seen it again until it came out the other end.
ReplyDeleteYou are a brave lady but think where it may have been.
WASH THAT EARRING REALLY GOOD!!
I am careful what earrings I wear when working around the farm ever since my chickens tried to eat them right off of my earlobes!
ReplyDeleteThat's amazing that you actually found it! Two summers ago, I had some Buff Orpingtons and as I was holding one of my pullets one day, she spotted my gold ball earrings. She pecked around at one, so I made sure the back was on good and secure. The next thing I know, she went for it again, and pecked so hard she pulled it out of my ear lobe and swallowed the entire earring...ironicly her name was "Goldie", I guess when I named her I suspected something like this might happen lol.
ReplyDeleteGood eye! Nice save!
ReplyDeleteI can't believe you found it...it is amazing how well manure can hide things! Great eyes...Kim
