Poor little farm doggy

So, do you think Roxy...:

had any idea...:

when we moved to Critter Farm:

...who she'd wind up:

spending her days with?:

Me neither:

Poor little city-girl-turned-farm-doggy:

She still struggles a bit with all the different languages she has to speak now.

  1. I'm sure she had no clue of what country life would be like, however I think she's adjusting beautifully. In fact, she must feel like a queen because she's able to come in and curl up in a warm cozy country abode!

  2. She has that same look on her face as my foxie terriorist has on his sometimes! "Why must I be good? Why can't I just eat one chook?"

  3. When we moved, it didn't matter to our dog. She always was a farm doggy... and spoke two languages...

  5. She does look a bit out of her element, but she'll be fine as long as you're there for her.

  6. I had to chuckle at poor Roxy. She does definitely have a "what have you done to me?" look on her face. :)

  7. My heart swells when I see animals getting along like this.

  8. LOL. She has that disgruntled look on her face.

  9. Ooh, the more you look, the more animals you see! I'll bet that Roxy thinks that much of the time, too.

  10. Yup, her life sucks. :) She's Lisa Douglas on Green Acres for sure.

  11. She is such a love. I suspect she is a bit confused about her variety of brothers and sisters these days, but we all know she is still the princess.

  12. LOL, reminds me of Lucy, my beagle. She was our "first born" and still has an issue with all these other creatures.

  13. I can't think of better, more entertaining and rock solid companions than all the critters Roxy hangs out with now.

George really is quite a media hog, isn't he..? *smile*

    How's Clyde?

  15. Excellent language opportunities! If she has any problems, please send her to my renowned cat/chicken/donkey/goat/frog/snake/bird/etc. Language in Translation School. Fees are nominal, and we take extra care with beautiful doggies named Roxy.

  16. Love little Roxy. She does look a little bewildered sitting there. Funny. Glad Skippy is better. I like your blog and I'll be back for more.

  17. Ah but to feel the soil beneath her toes, and smell the woods, that must make up for the language thing right? :)

  18. What a silly little dog. She does look a little sad when George shows up, though.

  19. Is Roxy tired of celebrating diversity?

I can't wait for the new egg count!

  20. Roxy looks so bright white clean and pretty. I bet she's more afraid of getting dirty out there on the farm than she is concerned about her various animal companions. They all look fine and healthy. That George sure has become handsome and looks well fed and cared for. How is Roxy's leg/hip issue? Did she heal well?

CeeCee's comment above about Green Acres cracked me up!

  23. Oh, how sweet. I love the tufts of hair at her ears. :) George looks like he's thoroughly content and enjoying his company, and I can't even begin to imagine how wonderful such harmony is between species... we don't have it at MBF. :)
