In my element


You can take me off the farm:

Drive me across the state:

Put me in a swinging box called a gondola that glides up a flimsy cable to the top of a mountain:

and if there are animals anywhere in the vicinity that want to hang with me ... :

I'm going to find them.

with animals crawling all over me.... :

    Jealous!!! I would spend all day with the cuties if it were me. I'm guessing Roxy spend this part of the vacation in the trailer, sleeping. She'd be in heaven chasing chipmunks.

    Are you sure you didn't bring the last guy/girl home with you? No fear in that little creature. I am not surprised at all these critters found YOU. I'm just glad it wasn't something bigger - like a grizzly, for example!

    You, of all people, would find joy in any four-legged critter. I love chipmunks and we used to have quite a colony living under our deck . . . but I'm afraid the new feral cat that has adopted us loves them too! Adorable pictures by a great photographer who happens to love all sorts of critters.
