Things hit you unexpectedly sometimes and my poor mom wound up in the emergency room late last night.
She'll be having urgent gallbladder surgery today. It should be a relatively simple procedure, but she's had a pretty rough go of it, health-wise, these last few years and I worry about her a lot.
Please, if you could, keep her in your thoughts today.
I'll be thinking of both of you, and watching for updates later.
ReplyDeleteGot you covered. All kinds of good mama thoughts going on. Keep me posted, please.
ReplyDeleteDanni,
ReplyDeleteI'm praying for your Mom! I used to work for gastroenterologists here in the Portland area, so I know a lot of the surgeons. Let me know if you need any insider info, okay? :) I know how stressful it is when Mom isn't well - you'll be in my thoughts and prayers, too!
Blessings,
dina
Lots of prayers for your mom, Danni. I hope it goes as easy as mine did, however mine was not an emergency situation. And I pray that her recovery is speedy and she's back on her feet real soon to give more lovin' to the donks!
ReplyDeleteYou got it Danni. I can tell your mom is a special person. For one thing she raised you, a special person. I'll be thinking about both of you.
ReplyDeleteNothing but the best healing thoughts going out for your mom. Here's wishing for an easy surgery and quick recovery.
ReplyDeleteLove the pic!
Danni, Thanks for letting us know. My prayers are headed up to the big guy!
ReplyDeleteAs Robin said, be thinking of both of you, and hope you have time to put an update here when you find out how she's doing.
ReplyDeleteI'll be sending positive vibes to you both. My gallbladder and I parted company a few years ago, it wasn't too bad. Make sure she takes it easy for a few days after the surgery, and have some apple juice on hand to give the digestive system a kick start --she might not need it.
ReplyDeletehugs,

Our prayers go out to your mom and you all...hope all goes well and she is back on Critter Farm soon! She must be a very special lady to have such a sweet daughter. Make sure you tell her that, that'll make her feel much better.
ReplyDeleteWe'll be praying for her...please keep us posted
ReplyDeleteGood thoughts and healing energy are being sent to both of you. Take care and let us know what's going on when you get the chance.
ReplyDeleteYou got it. I'm sending good vibes her way.
ReplyDeleteHow's your mom today?
ReplyDeleteI am such a believer in the power of positive energy - thank you all for your kind words and THOUGHTS sent my mom's way.
ReplyDeleteHer surgery was uneventful and she had a good night. The plan is for her to go home today already! Yay!! The next couple days will be all about pain management, so she'll be taking it really easy.
Thank you all again. :-)
Sorry I'm a bit late to the game Danni, but I am so glad your mom came through it well. I've actually been through what she's been through, ER and all (mine was about to burst) and the best advice I can give her is to rest as much as possible and do some research on her new diet. Fresh foods, especially greens will do a number on her now. She'll have to get used to her new digestive system. Good Luck and Best Wishes!! xoxo
ReplyDeleteGlad to hear your mom did well!
ReplyDeleteHi Danni. Hope everything is well with your Mom.
ReplyDeleteMy Mother is still in the hospital also.
My thoughts will be with them both today.
Pam
Wishing your mom a speedy recovery!
ReplyDeleteWhat kind and caring friends you have, Daniella! I am very grateful to be sitting here to tell all of you a very humble thank-you. Getting up from this sitting position, however, will be another story, perhaps not followed by dulcet words. BUT, I simply can't wait to be out on the farm again soon. New things are happening every day!
ReplyDeleteI hope your mom is doing okay.
ReplyDeleteI'm thankful your mom's surgery went well. She'll be up and around in no time. She HAS to, she's a MOM!
