The gifts I was given today

Four eggs:
The first daffodil bloom:
A visit from a curious cat named George:
and a kiss from my llama, Kai:
Tell me, was it coincidence that it also reached 60 degrees and was sunny *all day long* when these wonderful things occurred?  I think not.

Oh, yeah... and yesterday?  Dottie, my White-Crested Black Polish hen, laid her first egg since September 16, 2011:
Spring has almost arrived on Critter Farm.

Here we are seeing signs of Autumn, the leave are beginning to turn, although I'm sure we've had more sun in the last week or so than we did all summer! ♥

Oh, that one of you and Kai = best picture ever.

Isn't wonderful! We've been getting eggs again, too. And yesterday our Daffodil finally opened up. Spring must be just around the corner, right? The last few days have been a balm to the winter weary soul.

Don't signs of spring just lift you up? And I bet llama kisses are almost as good a sheep kisses...

And we have snow predicted here again. Ugh. Soon, very soon, I hope, better weather!

In the first photo George is saying, "There you are. Spring is here! Where have you been?"

And look at those gorgeous eggs! Very exciting to the egg score keeper who happens to be me this year. Our nightly tally is revving up!

These two fleeting days of spring were very seductive, but the rain that followed is putting a damper on everything. Pun intended.

Well that egg was certainly long in planning.
Have a wonderful Sunday!

Spring, sweet Spring. The snow is melting and the days are beginning to warm here in Maine. How I wish Cousin Eve and I could spend a day with you and Roxy and all the gang at your magical Critter Farm. Hugs, Julie.

You got a llama kiss! Oh, what a treasure. All the others are too, but I like that one the best. :)

I'm loving the body language in these photos.

George looks like he expects some recognition for the lovely tableau he condescended to be part of; you and Kai are quite happy to be lovey, so sweet; my fave, though, has to be Dottie. She looks like she's saying "Ok? I laid an egg. It's a nice one. Are you happy with me now?"

Love your critters, Danni. What characters they are!

I love the one of you and sweet Kai. And I love the fact that spring has sprung, however we are in for six days of rain "so they say!" We hardly had a winter, though, so I welcome the rain.
