Bangs and a mohawk

I've noticed two very distinct styles between my donkeys.

Chester, very clearly, is a bangs man:

While Beau is a mohawk sort of guy:

Fortunately, they don't often let this little difference come between them:

And, for the most part, they usually see eye to eye:

Unless Beau makes the mistake of teasing Chet about whether he can see with all that hair in his face...

..And then Chet finds it necessary to remind Beau:

- quickly and swiftly -:

...to show a little respect:

Later, Mohawk will apologize to Bangs:

...and all will be forgiven:

Boys and their hair!!

  3. While I sport bangs myself...or as my hairdresser would say, "a fringe"...I must say, I quite like the mohawk that Beau has goin' on. Very stylin'.

  5. Danni I need your help! I am getting three donkeys next week (mama, daddy, and baby). Someone is moving to town and needing to get rid of her donkeys...

Yet I know nothing whatsoever about them...camels I can handle, llamas are a snap and I suspect my new alpacas will be the same...but DONKEYS???

I am going to search your posts but if you have any bits of wisdom for me that would be great!

I posted your guys and a link to your blog on my blog this morning...hope you don't mind. Kim

  6. At first, by your title, I thought you and Aiden decided to get haircuts! But no, instead, this is such a cute post. It would make a great little children's book illustrating how to share your toys. Thanks for starting my day off with a chuckle!

  14. Somehow, I never noticed that before. Glad they've decided to live and let live as far as hair fashions go. :)

  18. hi danni! the vet told me to give teddy 2 benadryls a day. it has saved us! not only does it almost entirely eliminate the itching, it makes her sleep more. 1 week to go! how is roxy doing? is she putting weight on the leg yet?
