So glad George chose you and your family to live with. No doubt his life is more interesting being the (sometime) subject of such an entertaining blog! What is it with cats and water? My cat prefers to drink out of the dehumidifier or the birdbath! Cats. Gotta love em.
Cats kinda do that huh? First you don't have one and own a farm and the next thing you know, George moves in a there ya go, now you work for him. Sunny Bunny Boo Boo head (we are his people), who I call my office asst. has promoted himself to chairman of the board and I can call for an appointment. Funny.
With all the rain you have been having I thing George can drink just about anywhere. Lucky guy. If we could send this rain to Florida they would be so happy.
thirsty booger isn't he? And might I add it appears our friend George has added a few pounds since proclaiming Critter Farm as his domain. Is that all from a strictly barn mice diet, or have you been slipping him a little extra under the table?
so, I consider myself a dog person. If I had to pick, I'd get a dog. But since I married into a family with a cat, and then had a cat adopt us; I've decided when I come back, I want to be a cat. The sheer confidence they have. "Of course it is all about me!" And yes, our cat owns the whole damn neighborhood :)
george seems to be the official critter farm water sampler. he must make sure that every critters drinking water is safe and fresh! hope you have a big litter box? or is the farm the litter box?
:) These are the most adorable pictures! That George is one handsome fella. Don't you just love how cats can steal your heart and take over without you hardly even noticing?
Aside from George, I noticed you're gardening on a slope. I'd love to see and read more about your adventures and tactics with that. And yes, George definitely moved in and took over. :)
Do tell! How long has it taken you to capture all these special "George Drinking Moments?" Too funny!
ReplyDeleteGo George! Who obviously believes in the old saying...
ReplyDelete"Thousands of years ago, dogs and cats were worshipped as Gods... Cats have never forgotten"

Looks as if he has a real drinking problem... lol
ReplyDeleteHe's helping keep down the mosquito population. It's a valuable talent. :)
ReplyDeleteHe clearly does own it. I'm glad you caught on to the property rights of cats so quickly.
ReplyDeleteHaha. Sure looks that way. ;-)

And if he's anything like my Ethel you could give him his own little dish with his name on it and he wouldn't drink from it to save his life.
ReplyDeleteThat's funny! He knows all the best places to get a drink. He is so cute.
