A new friend for Chester
Allow me, please, to introduce Beau:
He's a bit wet and muddy here, but he's drying off quickly and acclimating very well to his new home here on Critter Farm:
He's looking forward to going out and playing with the new kids:
Chester, meanwhile, is super excited that he is going to have a buddy that doesn't spit at him:
Not that he hasn't tried really hard to be their pal:
But this llama club is apparently quite selective over membership:
I've a feeling these haughty little ladies are going to be pretty surprised:
When they see the new club that's forming:

Hooray!!!!!! A new friend for Chester!!!! I *love* this. And I know that Chester is going to love it, too. I bet he will kick up his heels in happiness. And run and frolic and play!!! This is very exciting news.
ReplyDeleteI fear that those (sometimes snooty snootsters)llama ladies arent gonna know what to think. Especially when they have 2 sweet donks running circles around them!
Welcome to critter farm, Beau. I just know that you are going to love it there.
There's just nothing better than a friend who doesn't spit at you. Hooray for Chester, welcome Beau!
ReplyDeleteOMGosh!!!!!
ReplyDeleteHooray, a buddy for Chester!
Be sure to give us all the details when you have time.
Those banana ear girls are gonna be jealous, you just watch.

ReplyDeleteI agree with what CA Grammy said! Good deal for Chester, and Beau. Donkey pals. No wonder you said that your barn is full!
ReplyDeleteBeau is soooo cute! And just look at Chester's happy little face as he greets Beau. This is so exciting! When those llama queens see how much fun Beau and Chester have, well I bet they're gonna wish they'd been nicer to him......
ReplyDeleteCongratulations!!!
Good for him, if they won't be his friends he'll just go get his own! I wonder if they will want to be friends now when he starts ignoring them!!

ReplyDeleteLlamas do possess an uppity attitude to go along with their regal appearance. Beau, I would love you whether you were muddy or not.

Yay! I'm so happy for Chester (and you). Beau has such a sweet face.
ReplyDeleteI'm so happy for Chester!!! Not that I don't love the girls, as well. They're truly gorgeous. That photo of Chester looking over the fence is too priceless. I think that's what's known as 'long suffering'.
ReplyDeleteEveryone needs a friend.
ReplyDeleteOh good, you got two, I think everybody deserves a buddy, and the two of ya can see the world from the same perspective.

ReplyDeleteWish I could be a fly on the fence observing - when those two boys begin kicking up their heels, chasing around the pasture together. Although maybe Beau will be more sedate. Who knows? But it's guaranteed you'll spend hours out there watching them ;-)
ReplyDeleteOh Danni, Beau is so handsome. Yay for Chester!!!! Okay, tell, where did you find Beau? I am so happy for you and Chester. Now Chester can can say, "neener, neener' to the snooty llama clique! Doing the Happy Dance for you and Chester.

ReplyDeleteChester totally deserves a new friend! He's worked so long on making friends with those llamas! Yeah!! Now he's got a friend for himself now!
ReplyDeleteHow do you find time for all these animals, Danni? Taking care of them all must be a full-time job!!
How sweet! I so wish I knew someone nearby me that had donkeys! I'd love to visit with them. Donkeys = happy!
ReplyDeleteThis brought tears of joy to my eyes and I'm so happy for Chester. One could just tell how he was longing for a BEST FRIEND and trying so hard with those snobbish llamas. Love it and I'm so happy for you all.
