I stumbled across your blog and reading it made me think of the journey into farming my daughter and her family just started last summer. They are located in South Carolina, but many of their experiences will be similar to what you will probably encounter. It was scary but they are loving it. So far they have chickens and goats, and plan to add bees in the spring. Here is a link to their blog - hope it works: http://ajourneyinyourdreams.blogspot.com/search?q=
yea! how much fun was that to wake up to FIVE new comments on my blog! I thought I'd answer your question here so I'd know for sure you'd get it. The great thing about blogger is that whenever you leave someone a comment, there's a little check box at the bottom of the screen that asks if you want future comments on this blog emailed to you. So that way, the blogger can reply and you receive it via email. :)
Hey, the one thing I noticed about the "email follow up comments" option is that you get *everyone's* comments then...not just a response to a question you might have posted. I guess that's not necessarily a bad thing, but it was weird the first time I started getting what appeared to be random comments about someone else's blog! :-)
