This is so exciting! According to the National Weather Service, between 1940 and 2003, snowflakes have fallen in Portland, Oregon only 5 times on Christmas day. So we Portlanders are having a ball, even though it's barely more than a dusting on the ground at this point. At least it's sticking! We in the Land of Drizzle tend to go a bit crazy when the white stuff begins to fall, so who knows what the day will bring.
It's so pretty!
Is the photo of your back garden? I'm very jealous if it is.
ReplyDeleteHi Solomon...yes, it is, but only for about another month. Then we move to the country! :-)
ReplyDeleteThe snow is beautiful. That is something we don't see much of in Georgia. A question? How did you get your comments to show on your blog? The answer to your question about the raised beds-to work in them I take the lattice panels off that is on the ends. I use the metal shower curtain rings to hold them on. It is a tight squeeze in there, especially after all these Christmas treats. Have a great day!
ReplyDeleteHi ga.farmgirl...Thanks for the info on your fencing - LOL about the squeezing in after the holidays, I can relate!
ReplyDeleteRegarding the comments...it's all a matter of what link you click. If you click a post for a specific day, rather than your main URL, you will see the comments automatically posted at the bottom. For example, if you go to my main URL: http://critterfarmgirl.blogspot.com, you won't see the comments, but if you go to yesterday's posting, http://critterfarmgirl.blogspot.com/2007/12/its-white-christmas-for-portland.html, it shows the comments. Yours works this way, too - I checked! :-)
